This series is open to any and all persons who provide direct or indirect care for persons living with dementia and their families in any care setting or home and community-based services.

Week 3 will cover ways in which healthcare professionals can respect individual autonomy, especially as it pertains to caring for persons living with dementia who have limited decision-making capacity. Particular emphasis will be placed on upholding the principles of beneficence and non-maleficence in the setting of caring for persons living with dementia who may have limited decision-making capacity.
