Families Coping with Dementia is an mmLearn.org presentation for the James L. West Center for Dementia Care.

The presenter will explore the conflict and strain that often exists when caring for a loved one with dementia. Support from family members is not always forthcoming and decision-making has the potential to erode family relationships.

Maria Wellisch, RN, LNFA has 40 years experience as a nurse and administrator, with most of her experience in long-term care. Maria will present caregivers with practical information and solutions to living with dementia as a caregiver. It’s something every caregiver should watch.
